MAREMMA
Just a few kilometers from Capalbio you can visit the beach and the Monte Argentario coastline, a splendid headland, hosting the towns of Porto Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano, famous for the lovely beaches and crystal-clear waters. From Porto Santo Stefano you can reach the islands of Giglio and Giannutri.
Approximately 40 kilometers from Capalbio you can discover the Tuff Area with Pitigliano, Sovana and Sorano and bask in the healthful waters of the thermal baths of Saturnia, renown for its superb sulphureous thermal waters that flow into a valley near the town creating a suggestive, picturesque waterfall. Bath is recommended for the treatment of various forms of pain and many skin disorders.
Between history and tradition
With its medieval castle and typical restaurants, where you can discover the ancient flavours of times gone by, Capalbio awaits you in an environment steeped in history and tradition.
This gracious town in the Tuscan Maremma is set on a green hillside, just a short distance from one of Italy's most beautiful coastlines.

Immerse yourself in the Tuscan countryside
In Garavicchio, near the Tuscany-Lazio border, you can admire something extremely unique: the “Giardino dei Tarocchi" – a truly original work of imagination conceived by the French artist Niki de Saint Phalle as the crowning accomplishment of her artistic life.
The work represents the 22 Major Secrets of the Tarot, created with bizarre concrete and polyester sculptures, covered with ceramic tiles made on site, and with glass and mirrors. The complex installation of these imposing, habitable sculptures is an important example of an open-air art museum of national and international renown.
